Copies of the out of print books might be obtainable at the half-yearly Railway Book Fair at GEC Stafford. Alternatively copies might be available from specialist second-hand railway book dealers such as Robert Humm, Barry Jones, Ted Hancock or Nigel Bird.

Please note that whilst not devoting itself to pure Leek & Manifold Valley Light Railway matters the study of that railway is a part of the remit of the NSRSG. The L&MVLR was built with the co-operation of the NSR, who built a connecting branch to it, operated it, and then maintained and modified the stock. However the approach adopted by the Study Group toward the L&MVLR is comparable with that taken towards industrial railways of the area which had a connection to the Knotty. Thus material and articles on the L&MVLR may appear in the Study Group's publications, but only in an NSR context.
